INPUT FROM THE CROW

Thoughts about music and learning to be a good guy

Concept of Control

March 11, 2024

The ego is a funny thing. It makes you believe you’re the decision maker in the game of life. However, all I see it do is either backward rationalize a result that already exists or try to fight against it, only delaying the inevitable.

I believe we are a lot more prone to internal programming than we think… as if the grand scheme is already laid out, and we only have the ability to experience the very close-up version of it via the lens that is our physical body.

But what I’ve found is the beauty in the “plan” laid out for us. Predestination or causation, it doesn’t matter. Our personality, experiences, knowledge, interests, and desires will always make the same choices if you really go back through the entire timeline that is your life.

So, why not just listen to your gut, align yourself, and stop stressing out about the outcome of your life. Just enjoy the super immersive movie that is unfolding in front of you.
